Our Story

Helping learners move forward with confidence

BSGS stands for the British School of Grammar & Speaking. We began in September 2006 as an independent English language school in Whitechapel, East London.

Our work has grown from conversation and grammar classes into a wider range of English, Functional Skills and vocational courses. We continue to focus on clear teaching, practical skills and individual support.

BSGS College was among the first education providers to publish Life in the UK and driving theory preparation guides specifically for Bengali-speaking learners. These resources have helped many people prepare for important tests and take their next steps in the UK.

Our learners come from many cultures and backgrounds. That diversity creates a welcoming environment where students can learn from their teachers and from one another.
